Tracking, Scoring & Leaderboard Methodology

Version 2.0 • September 2026

1. Purpose and philosophy

This methodology explains how TRACK30 daily behavior becomes a performance score and how equal scores are ranked. The design emphasizes repeated execution rather than one-day extremes.

2. Score weights

3. Calorie adherence

A calorie-success day requires a finite calories-remaining value that is at least 0 and less than the participant's Calorie Budget. If the entire Calorie Budget remains, the day is not treated as a completed successful calorie-tracking day.

Calorie % = Successful Calorie Days ÷ Calendar Days in Challenge Month.

Calorie Score = Calorie % × 40.

4. Gym adherence

Monthly Gym Goal = Committed Weekly Gym Days × 4.

Gym % = MIN(Completed Gym Days, Monthly Gym Goal) ÷ Monthly Gym Goal.

Gym Score = Gym % × 40.

Current production scoring treats a zero gym goal as fully satisfied. Credited gym days are capped at the monthly goal for scoring.

5. Protein adherence

A protein day counts when the daily protein percentage is at least 1.00 (100% of the assigned Protein Goal).

Protein % = Protein Days ÷ Calendar Days in Challenge Month.

Protein Score = Protein % × 13.

Protein is scored independently of Calorie Budget success. A participant who reaches 100% of the Protein Goal receives Protein credit even if the participant exceeds the Calorie Budget that day. The participant still loses the more heavily weighted Calorie credit for that day. This intentionally reinforces both priorities: protein matters, but exceeding the Calorie Budget to reach protein can hurt overall performance.

6. Deadline adherence

Deadline credit is determined by the production deadline status and sufficient-tracking rules. Excused days receive deadline credit. A normal 'met' day must also satisfy the production sufficient-tracking requirement; review and missed days do not receive deadline credit until/resolution unless applicable.

Deadline % = Deadline-Credit Days ÷ Calendar Days in Challenge Month.

Deadline Score = Deadline % × 7.

7. Month length and rounding

Calories, protein, and deadline use the actual number of calendar days in the challenge month (28, 29, 30, or 31). Gym uses weekly commitment × 4. Metric scores and overall score are rounded to one decimal place in the reviewed production backend.

8. Score view vs Tracking view

Score view displays weighted points. Tracking view displays the underlying counts (for example 28/30 calorie-success days). Both views describe the same performance from different perspectives.

9. Ranking comparator

  1. Overall Score
  2. Calorie Score
  3. Gym Score
  4. Protein Score
  5. Deadline Score
  6. Relative Body-Fat % Reduction
  7. Relative Body-Weight % Reduction

Relative BF% Reduction = ((Initial BF% − Final BF%) ÷ Initial BF%) × 100.

Relative BW% Reduction = ((Initial Weight − Final Weight) ÷ Initial Weight) × 100.

Body-composition reductions are tie-breakers only; they do not add points to the 100-point score.

10. Missing transformation data

Missing initial/final body-composition data remains missing. It loses that tie-break against valid numeric data. A valid numeric zero is not treated as missing.

11. True ties

If all published ranking criteria remain equal, participants share the same performance rank. TRACK30 uses competition ranking: 1, 2, 3, 3, 5.

12. Performance vs reward outcome

The leaderboard does not rewrite performance rank to account for reward eligibility. A participant can be rank #1 in performance and still be NOT ELIGIBLE or REJECTED for a reward. Reward placement is calculated separately.

13. Corrections

Corrections exist to make the record accurate. Timeliness is evaluated separately. Reopening or correcting a day does not inherently mean the original deadline was met.
